This is a bit more civilized Adventure but well worth the stop. As you are traveling east in your RV rental plan to spend an afternoon or a late morning walking the three acre Duncan Gardens in Spokane Washington.

John Duncan had the vision to create a European Renaissance garden and he did a masterful job of doing so. Now the Duncan Gardens are maintained by a large group of volunteers so that everyone can enjoy.

The Duncan Gardens are part of a larger park called Manito Park. There are five specialized gardens and you could easily find yourself lost in the wonder of it all for a whole day and then some.

The Duncan Gardens are a sure hit for the whole family and worth the stop by on your through the northern part of the state of Washington. One of the things you will want to make sure you do is to remember to take a picnic lunch with you so that you can enjoy the wonderful flowers and manicured scenery while you eat.

I always suggest make a theme day of your trip to Duncan Gardens. Get the kids all gussied up with dress up clothing and parents can get some period pieces and enjoy a good old fashion stroll through the Garden and then have that picnic right out of that old fashioned wicker picnic basket on top of a great quilt. Making memories is what RV rental vacations are all about.

If you do not have time for a full picnic lunch make some wonderful tea in the RV prior to your stroll through the Duncan Gardens and take it with you so you can enjoy tea in a proper European Renaissance garden. That is an experience that you must try at some point in life.

Enjoy.
